Volunteer Recognition


Ms. Kendall Stiles, is The Founder and Creator Wrapping Stiles “We Recognition and Appreciate People”, and is the author of Sharing Moments of Recognition Every day. She has made many presentations around this valuable topic for volunteer programs to local, regional and state wide non-profit, faith based and health care organizations, institutions of higher education, etc. She has also been working in the field of Student Development and Volunteerism for 21 years. She received both her B.S. degree in Elementary Education and her M.A. degree in Leadership in Higher Education from Appalachian State University in North Carolina. She is the awards chair for the Georgia Association of Volunteer Administrators.  She has served on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oconee, Oconee Prevention Resource Council, The American Cancer Society and the Life Enrichment Center. She is the Treasurer for The friends of the Mary Vinson Library and has been a Chamber Ambassador with the Milledgeville & Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce. In 2010, she earned the highest honor in Student Affairs within the state of Georgia by receiving the Theodore K. Miller Outstanding Student Affairs Professional Service Award. In May of 2012, she was honored as 1 of 5 honorees for the 2012 Women of Distinction given by the Central Georgia chapter of Girl Scouts. Her philosophy could not be stated any better than “To find Joy, Happiness and Love and make it your own but then scatter it every day.”
