Zaneta is a Community Volunteer Manager at Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, where she has been working for over two years. She has a Master of Public Administration and a Certificate of Nonprofit Volunteer Management from the Georgia Center for Nonprofits.
She is passionate about creating and adapting volunteerism, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and philanthropy outreach programs across the state of Georgia. She manages a portfolio of over 300 individual and institutional donors, including Fortune 500 companies, and facilitates relationships with key college and service organizations. She develops and implements strategic engagement plans, both in-person and virtual, to enhance the donor, partner, and volunteer experiences.
She also leads recruitment, retention, and recognition efforts to attract and retain a diverse pool of volunteers committed to the Girl Scouts mission.
She utilizes technology to promote, train, and report on the engagement of volunteers, and has used youth program & event management skills create and coordinate special events for over 26,000 Girl Scouts. She works closely with corporate liaisons to organize and execute state-wide Day of Service events and ongoing employee engagement.
She collaborates with state-wide and national partners, such as The United Way, Hands on Atlanta, and Girl Scouts of the USA, to build community partnerships and foster social impact. Her goal is to continue working to improve the community around her through non-profit and CSR management.
