Meet the Panelists

Toccara Arnold Alam, Lead Coordinator Corporate Volunteerism, KPMG Atlanta

Toccara Arnold Alam supports a tax team dedicated to nonprofits and tax-exempt organizations. For the past eight years, she has co-chaired KPMG's Community Impact committee in Atlanta, organizing employee volunteer events. Toccara is also the board president of the Corporate Volunteer Council (CVC) of Atlanta and has served on the CVC board for five years, driven by her personal experience as a recipient of nonprofit support to give back to the community.


Geneva Hall-Shelton, Senior Manager of Corporate Responsibility and Global Community Impact, IHG Hotels and Resorts

Geneva Hall-Shelton oversees community impact efforts for over 6,400 hotels in more than 100 countries. Her focus areas include workforce development, philanthropic giving, volunteerism, waste diversion, anti-human trafficking, and disaster relief. She also serves on the boards of CareerRise and the Corporate Volunteer Council of Atlanta, and the advisory councils of Wellspring Living and the Atlanta Technical College Industry Council.

Kat Reynolds, Manager of Community Relations, Veritiv

Kat Reynolds is all about creating unique collaborations between corporations and nonprofits to address local social issues. With over a decade of experience working with organizations like United Way and the Atlanta Women's Foundation, she has a proven track record of building transformational, sustainable solutions. Currently, as the Manager of Community Relations at Veritiv Corporation, Kat spearheads a philanthropic strategy that advances mentorship and community support programs, significantly increasing volunteerism and donor contributions.


Meet the Moderator


Laura Moody, Founding Partner - Marketing and Business Development, Purpose Possible

Laura's experience at the intersection of purpose and people has placed her at the forefront of mission-focused communication and community engagement strategies. Before co-founding Purpose Possible, she held Development and Community Engagement positions with the Midtown Alliance, Savannah College of Art & Design, and the City of Atlanta’s Office of Cultural Affairs. Laura was elected Communications Co-Chair of the Corporate Volunteer Council of Atlanta for 2023/2024 and was named a Fellow of the Georgia Women’s Policy Institute for 2021-2022. She is also a graduate of the Urban Land Institute's Center for Leadership Class of 2016. Laura's recent clients include Atlanta BeltLine, Inc., the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District, Truist Foundation, the City of Clarkston, and Warner Bros Discovery's CSR department. Laura is a recovering theatre kid who performs with the Oakhurst Community Choir, the Summer Singers of Atlanta and frequents Fam Fam Karaoke.
