Getting the Information You Need

How do you focus on the data most useful for your organization?  What are easy ways to collect that data?  What are tricks of the trade to increase your success?  Where can you learn more about evaluation?

Ruth Caproni is the Outcomes Measurement Manager for Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta.  Before she came to work at the council she was a volunteer with the Girl Scouts for many years, and in her current position considers herself the “voice of the volunteers.”  In addition to providing information to increase volunteer satisfaction, she collects information from girls and parents to measure the impact of Girl Scouting – very useful when reporting to funders.  Ruth has a BA in anthropology from Duke University and an MBA from Georgia State University.  She worked as a marketing research consultant before joining the Girl Scouts in 2004.
